While I have a background in English literary studies, my entrance into graduate school began with my marking up articles in HTML for an early online scholarly publication, the electronic book review (http://www.electronicbookreview.com) edited by Professor Joseph Tabbi of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since those more cutting-edge days, my efforts have been directed toward my teaching, and I look forward to THATcamp as a way become involved in the digital humanities again.
